So, I keeping mulling over the idea that maybe an angel’s grace is the thing that can cure a demon. And if that’s the case, I don’t think Cass would hesitate for a MOMENT to fall to close the gates of hell. He’s given everything else to the Winchesters, why wouldn’t he give this, too?

As as Naomi pointed out, Cass has always been on humanity’s side. In her eyes, to a fault. If humanity needed an angel’s grace, if Sam and Dean needed it, I think Cass would give his in a second.

Maybe that’s the sacrifice implied by the season finale title.
